thaFormula.com - I hear you might be filming a movie this summer, care to elaborate?

MS - Not sure what the status is on that movie. Its been pushed back...

thaFormula.com - You were a top contender at middleweight; so if you drop to welterweight, it's going to change things for both you and the UFC. Is the UFC management opposed to you changing to the welterweight division?

MS - They are fine with it.

thaFormula.com - What do you think you would be doing right now if you were 1-5 in the UFC instead of 5-1 ?

MS - Looking for a new job! haha

thaFormula.com - Do you think weigh-ins should be conducted the actual day of the fight?

MS - Not now, I am 170 fighter! haha

thaFormula.com - You are infamous for being a standup-fighter, so what do you want to let people know about your ground game?

MS - Its better than it looked in my last fight! hahaha

thaFormula.com - What motivates you during the vigorous training sessions at AKA?

MS - Wanting to be the best.

thaFormula.com - The WW division is definitely stacked, but seems to be primarily dominated by fighters who rather take the fight to the ground ex: Hughes, Diego, Serra, Burkman, Karo, and your 2 teammates Kos and Fitch.  Are you going to have to do anything different as far as preparation fighting in the welterweight division?

MS - No, I will bring my own style there. I do train with 2 of the best welterweights in the business...

thaFormula.com - Is there anyone in particular you would like to face in the Octagon?

MS - Whoever is ahead of me.

thaFormula.com - How many fights do you have left on your current contract?

MS - Like 3 or so...

thaFormula.com - With the new Pride/UFC merger, what match-up do you want to see the most?

MS - Too many to list!

thaFormula.com - I heard Kos fought a 'crazed fan' at AKA a while back. If you were a crazed fan, who would you want to fight?

MS - I never thought about it.

thaFormula.com - Would you rather be submitted or knocked out?

MS - Neither!

thaFormula.com - Would you rather be knocked out by Eva Longoria or Jessica Alba?

MS -  Hahaha

thaFormula.com - If you were on TUF 5, who would you want in your corner, Penn or Pulver?

MS - Putting me on the spot! haha I would say Penn, I have trained with him before.

thaFormula.com - What fighter or coach do you think has influenced your game the most?

MS - Too many to list.

thaFormula.com - What do you do when you aren't training?

MS - I don't use it or care if they ban it or not.

MS - I want a title within 2 years.

thaFormula.com - I really like the song you have on your Myspace. How'd you hook that up?

MS - Fig Mutant came to me and said they were doing a song for me. Then met me at my gym to hear it. I thought it was great!

thaFormula.com - What C.D's do you have in your truck right now?

MS - Fig Mutant! Tupac, Eminem, Garth Brooks, Nickleback, Too many to list. I like it all.
